  1. Cloth diapers are the way to go in helping our planet become greener. While a pain to always clean, I will take that pain in order to help my kids in their future.

    We live very green in our home from recycling to our lightbulbs to our food and water consumption!

    Thanks for the contest!

  2. I love cloth diapering because it means that I am contributing to a greener environment and hopefully it is the start to environmental awareness with my child. It is so easy, fun with all the colours and prints and it even saves me a lot of money!!! Honestly....why wouldn't you use cloth diapers?

  4. i love that cloth is the best choice for my baby's health and our earth. Baby is due in 2 weeks so we haven't used them yet but our starter stash is ready to go and I can't wait to start using them. This has been one of our most important parenting decisions to date.

  6. I heart cloth diapering because I know exactly what is going on my son's bum. No chemicals whose weird names I can't pronounce! I love the versatility that cloth diapers provide--from chinese prefolds to all in ones. And finally, I love how much cheaper they are to disposables!

    I live greener by having little squares of receiving blankets cut up for drying off my kids beautiful tushies as the final step before I apply Butt balm of beeswax and essential oils. The whole cloth bag of them goes into the wash a couple of times a week. : )

  11. I take my tots with me to the recycling centre, they get to learn about the different types of containers, cans, bottles, et al and it is a lot of fun. Ours has been turned into a free mini mart of old toys and household items.

  12. Ooops, I entered on Facebook so I'm reposting here... I love how cute my little guy is in cloth. The Moms who use 'sposies always look so longingly at his cute bum. I've converted many with conversations about how "cool" he looks.

  15. We make living greener a family thing-everyone knows in the family that almost everything is recycleable, reusable. The kids say we are going to waste electricity if a light is on too long. They save water, don't let taps drip, help indoor line dry our clothes often. They help out in all the ways they can-makes everyone and our earth feel good :)

  21. I love CDing for SO many reasons, among the top are:
    1. Knowing that they are healthier to use on my child than sposies;
    2. I love the adorable prints and his fluffy bum!!! :);
    3. All the love, support and the unity of the CDing Mama's!!

    We try to live greener by using biodegradeable cleaning products and conserving what we can (water, paper etc.). We also use a lot of reuseable containers from sandwich bags (which I make), travel coffee mugs and tupperware etc.

  22. I love cloth diapering because it boggles my mind that EVERY disposable diaper ever used is still languishing in a landfill somewhere. :/ CD'ing is not without waste, but it's so much less!

  23. We chose to cloth diaper to cut down on cost and garbage but love how easy it is and how much better we feel putting him in cloth.

  25. I love cding because they are just so darn cute on my sons bottom and its so much greener! I seen a picture of how many disposables 1 kid could go through in their diapering stage and omg it disgusted me! Yuck! I also use cloth wipes and try to use reusable grocery bags as often as possible.

  30. Since I started to cloth diaper. I've changed a lot around the house to be more Eco friendly. I've been using cloth wipes and since I started that I thought well I'll start using reusable cloth for paper towel. I started making my own cleaner for cleaning the table bath tub and windows etc. I love cloth diapering I especially love the diversity of it. The different kinds whether they are cheap or expensive the differen materials used like hemp and bamboo. The covers the colours. The ease of use. Love cleaningthem and making them fresh again. And I love how they look on my babies tushie. Over all cloth diapers have made me happy :)

  31. I love that cloth diapering has lead me into looking into being greener all around. Less paper products, more recycling, more cloth products, bags, mama pads, wipes, paper towels etc...I absolutly love cloth diapering and spreading the word about how easy it is!

  32. I love lots of things about cloth diapering! Most of all the cuteness factor, the savings, and the eco-friendliness. We mainly started cdìng because disposable make our 2 youngest break out in rashes non stop, cloth is not an alternative to diapering it is the only way to do it, for us atleast.

  33. I like you on facebook as well :)

  34. I like cloth diapering because they are so cute! Also, my son has never had a diaper rash and I really think this is due to CD. I never really considered doing disposables (except at night and travelling) - the amount of waste just bothers me too much.

  36. after meeting with Steph and learning about all the wonderful benefits of cloth diapers, I can't wait to sport those cute diapers on my baby and help reduce the landfill waste. If we all do one extra thing in our daily lives to help reduce landfills, we can make our earth a lot greener :)

  37. Gosh, call me crazy, but I don't think there's anything about cloth diapering that I don't like--laundry included lol. I'll start there. I love the way the dipes smell when the come out of the wash. So clean. Plus, they contain the smell of poop and pee better than sposies. Sposies = chemicals = O.O Not on my babe! And he's just so darn cute in them. Man, do I love my boys! Wanna take care of our beautiful planet so they and their kids/grandkids etc can enjoy it too. :)

    Yup, that's why we use cloth. :D

  38. I love the way that it makes me feel to CD. I feel that Im doing right by my son AND bettering the planet at the same time. I know what's on his bum, and that makes me feel good. Thats why we use cloth, not sposies! I use all natural cleaning products, including laundry detergent. We try to eat as naturally and organic as possible!
